The Caledonian Thebans are Scotland's foremost inclusive rugby team. Since formation in 2002 we have been pushing boundaries on and off the pitch to provide a welcoming environment for anyone who wants to play rugby.

We compete at all levels; from our local league through to international tournaments, and host an annual Rugby Clinic for members across the international rugby community.

The Caledonian Thebans are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment into which players of all levels of experience feel comfortable. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy rugby in a prejudice free environment, and we are proud of our supportive, diverse and social team.

The Caledonian Thebans are proud members of the International Gay Rugby Association, IGR, which has so far taken us all over the world, including Birmingham, Dublin, Sydney, Nashville, Amsterdam.

We regularly take part in the Claymore Cup, with other Inclusive Scottish rugby teams.

We compete in the Scottish Rugby Union’s Tennent’s East Reserve League Division 3.
